Sweet saturday was founded by three young Swedish men in the spirit of sharing the Swedish culture of saturday sweets with the whole world. Sweets are a big part of Sweden, you can find them in every shop, big or small. Our name comes from a tradition, mainly for children but for adults as well. As children, they always looked forward to Saturday. Their parents would take them to the sweet shop and let them choose from a wide range of sweets. Sweets are not just something sweet, they are a pleasure in life, something to remember. An interesting fact is that Sweden is the country that consumes the most sweets per person in the world. This is proof of how strong the candy culture is in Sweden, and that's what the co founders of Sweet Saturday want to share with you. They hope you will come to love the day as much as them and to celebrate Sweet Saturday every weekend, just as the Swedish people do!
